This is a privileged area. There are different programs and activities that you can do in the Nature Reserve such as natural water pools (Charco de la Sirena), frills and waterfalls, bird watching.

Keep in mind that the Sendero y Oasis de la Sirena is the most visited. You can make your reservations and buy the ecological voucher by this means, sighting of flora and fauna.

How to get to the Path to know the Charco and Cascada la Sirena

To get to the La Sirena Waterfall and pool by car or motorbike, the first thing you should do is take the road to the sea, leaving from the west of the city of Cali, climb the mountain range until you pass kilometer 18. You should look for the entrance to the Borrero Ayerbe corregimiento also known as km 30, and then continue until you reach Queremal. From Queremal you will have to continue for approximately 1:30 hours on an unpaved road but in good condition to El Danubio.

Entrance fee to the Sendero y Oasis de la Sirena

The value of the entrance or ecological voucher: $13 thousand COP - $4 USD


Includes:

Medical assistance

Local Guide trained by the Corporation with all security measures

2-3 hours of visit within the Trail including the view of the Charco del Amor and the Oasis or Cascada la Sirena


Note: Because it is a protected area, the corporation has decreed a limit on the carrying capacity (visitors and tourists on the trail) so we recommend you pre-purchase your Ecological Voucher and secure your space.

Regulations for entering the Trail and visiting the Oasis de la Sirena

  • Single-use plastic is not allowed.
  • Pets are not allowed
  • It is not allowed to enter Sound (baffles), Food, Fishing equipment


Additional recommendations for visiting the Sendero and the Oasis de la Sirena


The type of clothing suitable for tropical humid climate. The height is 240 meters above sea level


Non-slip shoes are recommended. Remember that you are going to a reserve area protected by the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle del Cauca CVC and remember that what you take goes with you.


Avoid as much as possible the consumption of material that generates waste of plastic, glass, styrofoam or any other non-biodegradable material, if you take them, return them with you, take care of nature and camp in authorized areas.
