The departments of Caldas, Quindío and Risaralda make up the Coffee Triangle, so called because the best coffee in the world is born in this region of Colombia. To understand the secrets of this gourmet drink, you have to tour the region and experience firsthand the diversity of its climates and landscapes.
Amidst the gentle hills covered with coffee plantations lies a world of unsuspected pleasures.
The Coffee Triangle has established itself as the first rural destination in Latin America, thanks to the conditioning of its traditional haciendas into high-level tourist accommodation. Our visitors find luxurious suites, theme parks, golf courses, extreme sports and, of course, coffee at all stages of its production process.
The region has an excellent road network that makes it easy to travel inch by inch, whether to do business, contemplate nature or venture into it, go shopping or simply rest. The Coffee Triangle is an original and different option.
Manizales, Armenia and Pereira, the three capitals of the Triangle, compete in hospitality. It is up to each visitor to decide which one best suits their taste: a difficult decision.
The Coffee Triangle has a wide variety of thermal floors, from warm, 900 meters above sea level, on the banks of the Cauca River to the icy peaks of the snow-capped mountains that belong to this region. Manizales is a city with a cold climate; Pereira and Armenia are considered temperate.
